CAMILLIA MONET
Founder & CEO

Founder and CEO, Camillia Monet manages the daily operations of Esperanza Productions, including production, business legal affairs, and finance, while collaborating, with writers and directors to help achieve their vision.

Camillia has a number of films in various stages of development including the horror/thriller DARK DESERT HIGHWAY, and the suspense thriller, THE VOW, which will be directed by Nestor Miranda (HARLEM HOSTEL, DESTINATION UNKNOWN). She is also working with famed producer/director, Walter Salles (CITY OF GOD, THE MOTORCYCLE DIARIES) on a film by Oscar nominated writer, Jose Rivera, entitled CELESTINA. Presently, Camillia has several short films on the festival circuit.

In front of the camera, Camillia has been directed by industry icons such as Steven Spielberg and Gary Ross in the award-winning blockbusters, WAR OF THE WORLDS and SEABISCUIT. She has shared the screen with Tom Cruise, Toby Maguire, Holly Hunter and other major screen stars. Her acting has also been enjoyed by television and theatre audiences alike. In television, she is known for her fiery role as Aurora Aceveda in the multiple Emmy-award winning show, THE SHIELD.

Camillia is the annual guest instructor at the highly renowned Scuole di Teatre in Bologna, Italy. She received her Master's from Yale University and continued her studies in producing at the UCLA film school.

DANIEL CHISHOLM
Founder, EVP Strategy & Business Development

Daniel Chisholm is a veteran businessman, entrepreneur, and executive in traditional entertainment, digital media, and technology. He has co-founded multiple companies, produced several films, and raised millions of dollars for investment. Before founding Esperanza, he led production on multiple projects for entertainment giants such as Activision, Fox, and Electronic Arts. He also helped British Telecom grow their internet portal in the dotcom boom days.  Daniel received his undergrad at the University of Tennessee and his postgrad in business administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is also an active member of the Producers Guild of America.

WILLIAM MUELLER
Creative Executive

William Mueller began his career in the development department at 20th Century Fox in New York City. Later, he was invited to be Assistant Story Editor in the production company of legendary producer/director Alan J. Pakula (To Kill a Mockingbird, All the President's Men). Bill relocated to Los Angeles in order to take a development position with Oscar-winning producer Ed Saxon (Silence of the Lambs, Philadelphia, Adaptation). Bill is one of the founding members of Esperanza Productions and will be making his producing debut with Apples. A graduate of Rutgers University with a BA in Film Theory, Bill regularly serves on the submission committees at the Sundance Institute and Film Independent.

HILDA SOMARRIBA
Marketing & Public Relations

Hilda started her career as an assistant at MTV Networks, later transitioning as an executive assistant in the International Business Development division of Nickelodeon International. This led to the HBO Latin American Group signing Somarriba on as Advertising Sales & Promotions coordinator, overseeing four regional offices in Latin America for E! Entertainment, WBTV and Sony.

In 2000, Somarriba went on to work at Telemundo as Business Development & Ad Sales Executive for their Telemundo International Network and the domestic Latino-focused mun2. PMK/HBH hired Somarriba in 2005, which took her career into publicity, working with Will Smith, Sally Field, Candice Bergen, Maria Bello, Jamie Lee Curtis as well as handling the Latin media for Julio Iglesias, Il Divo and Freddy Rodriguez. Additionally, Somarriba worked on film festival campaigns in Sundance and the Los Angeles Film Festivals. Working with the Event team at PMK/HBH, she handled some of Hollywood's most exclusive events such as the Vanity Fair After-Oscar party, SAG Awards, St. Jude's Young Hollywood, WIF Crystal awards, American Music Awards, and the Sony-BMG post-Grammy bash.
 
In 2007, she joined Lightning Entertainment where she was in charge of specific movie campaigns as well as the annual distributor parties at AFM and Cannes. Somarriba created her own company: Prism Media Group in the spring of 2008.
